Mundo Maya (EC16)

Mundo Maya is the commercial name of the F1 hybrid EC16 from the CIRAD-ECOM programme. In the international multi-location variety trial it had the lowest leaf-rust score of all 32 entries across 29 sites and, with Centroamericano, the best combination of yield and rust resistance. Like the other F1 hybrids it is propagated clonally.
