A reference, not a review site: the numbers, their units and their sources, laid out so they can be compared and checked.
What this is
Beanbrary catalogues espresso machines, grinders, brewers and roasting machines; coffee species, varieties, origins, processing, grading and certifications; drinks and brewing methods; and the manufacturers, importers and roasters behind them. Every specification is read from the manufacturer, every trade figure from a public dataset, and every page says where each value came from and when it was read.
There are no ratings, no affiliate links on reference pages, and no photographs lifted from manufacturers. Machines are drawn to scale from their dimensions; atmospheric art is generated locally and labelled as illustration.
Corrections
If a value is wrong, the fastest fix is a link to the manufacturer page or document that shows the right one. Write to hello@beanbrary.com with the page URL and the field. Corrections ship with the next update of the site.
Privacy
The site is static. It sets no cookies of its own; the only thing stored in your browser is your chosen colour theme, in local storage, if you set one. No analytics or advertising scripts are loaded.
