Parainema

Parainema is IHCAFE's Sarchimor selection and the Honduran variety with the strongest rust resistance in field reports. In the 29-site international trial it ranked among the most resistant varieties worldwide, and it was the most responsive variety at the Kenyan trial site. It is compact and is one of the few introgressed varieties with a strong specialty reputation in Honduras.
