Tekisic is an improved Bourbon selected over several decades by the Salvadoran coffee research institute (ISIC) and released in the 1970s. It remains a tall, rust-susceptible Bourbon chosen for yield and cup. The institute's own documentation was not reachable, so the release details are not recorded as verified.
