Laurina

Also Bourbon Pointu, Bourbon pointu, Leroy

Laurina, or Bourbon Pointu, is a recessive mutation of Bourbon selected on Réunion. The plant is a compact, conical tree with pointed fruit and seeds, and it accumulates less caffeine than ordinary arabica, which drives its niche market. It is rust-susceptible and low-yielding, so it survives mainly as a specialty and research variety.
