United States

Commercial coffee in the United States is grown in Hawaii, on every major island but most famously in Kona and Ka'u on the Big Island, plus in Puerto Rico, which FAOSTAT and this atlas track separately. Hawaii's green coffee may be state-certified into grades from Extra Fancy to Prime, and only certified Prime or better may carry a district name such as Kona.
