Profitec

Profitec was founded in 1985 in Bammental near Heidelberg as a distributor of Italian espresso machines and other technical products, and began building its own machines in 1990; the current Profitec espresso brand was introduced at Host Milan in 2013. It is run by Michael Hauck, who also leads the sister company ECM, and its hand-assembled E61 and ring-group machines, from the compact GO to the Pro 700 and Pro 800 lever, compete directly with ECM in the German prosumer segment. Machines are finished in Bammental with Italian-made components.
