SL34

Also SL-34

SL34 is a companion Scott Laboratories selection to SL28, chosen in the late 1930s from a tree on an estate near Kabete and planted across Kenya's central highlands. Like SL28 it is tall and susceptible to coffee berry disease and rust. Trade sources debate whether it is Bourbon- or Typica-type; the primary sources do not settle it, so the group is left open.
