La Marzocco
La Marzocco was founded in Florence in 1927 by brothers Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, who patented the horizontal boiler in 1939 and the dual-boiler, saturated-group GS in 1970. Starbucks adopted its Linea in 1990, and American investors joined in 1995, after which the company grew into one of the most recognised commercial espresso brands and moved to a new Scarperia factory in 2009. Its home line began with the Linea Mini in 2015, and since the 2023 agreement with De'Longhi it sits in a professional-coffee holding alongside Eversys.
