Kees van der Westen

Kees van der Westen designed his first espresso machine in 1984 as the conclusion of his industrial design studies and has built hand-made machines in the south of the Netherlands ever since. The family company's Speedster one-group and Spirit multi-group machines, with their exposed boilers and pre-infusion chambers, are among the most expensive and sought-after café machines. Its newer Slim Jim and Spiritello lever add compact and lever formats to the range.
