S.288

Also S288

S.288 is the Indian selection from a natural arabica x liberica hybrid that donated the SH3 rust-resistance gene to S.795. It was itself grown in India and Sumatra in the early twentieth century but produced too many defective beans, which is why it was crossed with Kent.
