Diedrich Roasters
Diedrich Roasters traces its story to a family coffee farm in Costa Rica in the early 1900s and was founded as a manufacturer more than 45 years ago, building infrared-burner drum roasters in Ponderay, Idaho. Its IR series became a standard for small and mid-sized specialty roasters in North America. When founders Stephan and Becky Diedrich retired in 2016, Chicago's City Capital Ventures took a majority stake and the company continued under CEO Michael Paquin.
