Bialetti

Bialetti began in 1919 as Alfonso Bialetti's aluminium workshop in Crusinallo, and in 1933 he created the Moka Express, the octagonal stovetop pot that became the standard Italian home coffee maker and sold in the hundreds of millions under his son Renato. The company, listed in Milan as Bialetti Industrie, added induction mokas, capsule machines and its own coffee, and in 2025 Hong Kong's NUO Capital agreed to buy about 78.6% ahead of a delisting offer. The moustached 'omino' logo has appeared on the pots since 1958.
