Bezzera

Bezzera is the Milanese company founded in 1901 by Luigi Bezzera, whose patents for brewing coffee under steam pressure are the origin of the espresso machine; the rights were commercialised by Desiderio Pavoni. The family firm still builds home and commercial machines in the Milan area, including the BZ10 and Unica compact machines, the Magica and Mitica E61 heat exchangers, the Duo dual boiler and the Strega spring lever. Its machines are known for solid construction at moderate prices.
