Racemosa
Coffea racemosa Lour., Inhambane coffee, Wild coffee
Coffea racemosa is a small, drought-adapted, deciduous coffee of the coastal lowlands of Mozambique and north-eastern South Africa with naturally very low caffeine. It has been grown on a small scale in Mozambique and used experimentally by Brazilian breeders as a source of drought and leaf-miner tolerance. The US germplasm system holds five historical accessions. Its agronomic traits as a crop are otherwise undocumented in the sources available here.
