Certification
Rainforest Alliance Certified (incl. former UTZ)
Rainforest Alliance is the largest farm-sustainability certification in coffee by volume, carried by many mainstream brands. It absorbed the UTZ programme and now certifies both farms and supply-chain actors under a single Sustainable Agriculture Standard, with a newer regenerative-agriculture tier. Its frog seal can refer to a whole product or to a named certified ingredient.

What it requires
In this atlas's own wordsFarms and supply-chain companies are certified against the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard, which brought together the former Rainforest Alliance and UTZ programmes and covers farm management, deforestation and natural ecosystems, labour and human rights, and traceability. A newer Regenerative Agriculture Standard adds requirements on soil health, biodiversity and climate resilience. Certificate holders are audited and public summaries are published.

Logo use
The green frog seal means the product or a specified ingredient was produced by certified farmers, foresters or companies; businesses must meet listing requirements to appear on the consumer 'Find the Frog' pages. Seal-use rules were not captured in this collection.
