Thermoplan
Thermoplan is a family-owned Swiss maker of modular fully automatic espresso machines, founded in 1974 and based in Weggis on Lake Lucerne, where it opened its fifth factory building in 2024 and runs an automated shuttle warehouse. It became globally significant in 1999 when Starbucks chose it as exclusive supplier of its Mastrena machines. The Black&White series serves hotels, chains and bakeries in more than 80 countries, and a German sales and service subsidiary has operated since 1998.
