OXO, the New York housewares brand founded in 1990 around 'universal design' kitchen tools, entered coffee with a line of SCA-certified drip brewers, a conical burr grinder and manual brewers such as its cold-brew tower. It has been a subsidiary of Helen of Troy since 2004. Its Brew 9-Cup machine was among the first mass-market US brewers to meet the SCA Golden Cup standard.
