Nespresso
Nespresso is Nestlé's single-serve coffee system, launched in Switzerland in 1986 and headquartered in Vevey. Its machines are designed by Nespresso but built under licence by partners such as De'Longhi, Breville and Krups, while the aluminium capsules are produced in Nestlé's Swiss factories. The Original line spawned a market of compatible capsules after key patents expired, and the Vertuo system introduced in 2014 uses barcode-read centrifugal brewing.
