Fresh Roast
Fresh Roast Systems makes small fluid-bed hot-air roasters; its SR540 and SR800 are the most common entry-level home roasters in the US, and its automated ventless shop roaster was beta-tested in Seattle supermarkets from 1998. Investor Perkins & Associates funded and then took over management of the company in 2001-2003. The company's site is dated 2013 and gives no founding year.
