Faema
Faema is the Milan espresso-machine company founded in 1945 that in 1961 introduced the E61, the first machine with an electric pump and a thermosiphon-heated brew group; the E61 group is still copied by prosumer makers worldwide. Today Faema is a brand of Gruppo Cimbali, based alongside LaCimbali in Binasco, and its E71 and President lines serve the premium café market. The name also lived on in cycling, where Faema sponsored Eddy Merckx's first professional teams.
