Decent Espresso
Decent Espresso builds the DE1, a tablet-controlled machine that uses flow and pressure sensors and electrically heated water paths to profile shots to within a degree and a fraction of a bar, with open-source tablet software and an open API. The company publishes its CAD models and, unusually, licenses its text and photographs under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. It supports machines through repair centres in many countries, including Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
