Bodum
Bodum was founded in Copenhagen in 1944 by Peter Bodum and is now run from Triengen, Switzerland by the family's second generation. Its Chambord French press, taken over from a French maker in the 1970s, is the best-known plunger coffee maker in the world, and the brand also sells vacuum brewers, the Bistro electric burr grinder and drip machines. Most production is in its own factory in Portugal.
