Baratza
Baratza is the Seattle-area grinder company whose Encore made burr grinding affordable for home brewers and whose Sette and Vario lines brought weight-based dosing and flat burrs to the prosumer market. Known for selling spare parts and encouraging repair, it was bought by Breville Group in October 2020 for about US$60 million and its website now redirects into Breville's. Grinders are designed in Washington and made in Taiwan.
