Aillio
Aillio began in 2012 with a handwritten note to 'create awesome roasters with courage, honesty and adventure' and a team split between Denmark and Taiwan; its Bullet R1, an induction-heated 1 kg drum roaster with full profile logging, brought professional-style roasting to homes and micro-roasteries. The Bullet R2 and R2 Pro, with Wi-Fi and up to 1.2 kg capacity, followed, all made in Taiwan. The company publishes an unusually complete specification table and runs a profit-sharing scheme for its staff.
