Acaia
Acaia was officially founded in 2014 after development of its first product, the Pearl, began in 2013, drawing on the founders' background in laboratory precision balances. Its Bluetooth-connected Pearl and Lunar scales became the standard brewing and espresso scales in specialty cafés, and the range grew to the tiny Pyxis and Cinco, the Orbit grinder and the Horizon, which won the SCAJ 2026 new-product award. Regional companies operate in the US, EU, Japan and Korea.
